Dr. Constantinos Kintiroglou, MD FAAP

Dr. Kintiroglou completed medical school at the University Of Athens School Of Medicine in Greece. He completed his internship training at Fordham-Misericordia in New York. Specialty training in Pediatrics and Neonatology was completed at St. Barnabas Medical Center and Beth Israel Medical Center in New Jersey. He has been certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in Pediatrics since 1978. Furthermore, he has been subspecialty certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine since 1979.He was honored by the Consumer Research Council of America in Top Docs "Doctors Across America" in 2002 and 2003. Additionally, he was recognized in the "Guide to America's Top Pediatricians" in 2004 and 2005. Most recently, Dr. Kintiroglou has been named by NJ Monthly magazine "Top Docs" issue for 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010. Dr. Kintiroglou is the husband of Dr. Marietta Kintiroglou and the proud grandfather of 5 beautiful granddaughters.

Dr. John Kintiroglou, MD FAAP

Dr. John completed his undergraduate studies at The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD in 1993. After college, he attended UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and graduated in 1997. He then completed internship and residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Pediatrics in 2000. He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics since 2000. He respectfully declined an offer to be the Chief Resident of the Department of Pediatrics in order to join his father in clinical practice in June 2000. He was recognized in "Guide to America's Top Pediatricians" in 2007 and by NJ Monthly Magazine "Top Docs" also in 2007. He served as the Clinical Chief of the Department of Pediatrics at St. Barnabas Medical Center from 2007-2010. Dr. John lives locally with his wife, Irene, and their three enchanting daughters.

Dr. Lisa Pivawer, DO FAAP

"Dr. Lisa" attended college at the University of Pennsylvania where she graduated in 1996. She then went to New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and received her Doctorate in May 2000. She completed her pediatrics residency at North Shore University Hospital - Long Island Jewish Medical Center in 2003. She has been certified by the American Board of Pediatrics since 2003. She had practiced in New York until June 2007, when she joined our practice. She was recognized by the Consumer Research Council of America in their "Guide to America's Top Pediatricians" in 2009. Dr. Lisa lives locally with her husband, who is also a physician, and their three adorable children.

Dr. Elina Nachevnik, MD FAAP

Dr. Elina is the newest member of our family joining the practice August, 2011. She attended the Russian State Medical University in Moscow in 1991. She then started her residency at the Children’s Hospital and Medical Center in Moscow and completed it in NY at the Lincoln Medical Center (Weill Medical College of Cornell University) in 2002. Board certified since 2004, Elina has been in private practice as a Pediatric Hospitalist for the last nine years at St. Barnabas Medical Center. She holds various honors such as the “Newark Beth Israel Pediatric Residency Program Attending of the Year”, 2009-2010, “St. Barnabas Medical Center Achievement Award for Excellence in Patient Care”, 2007, and “Newark Beth Israel Medical Center Pediatric Residency Program Hospitalist of the Year”, 2006-2007. Elina also lives locally with her Husband, and her 2 charming daughters.

Our Nurse Practioner

Lauren Kohlberg

Lauren attended the University of Rochester and graduated in 1999 with a BSN in nursing. She then went on to get a Masters degree in advanced pediatric nursing from Rutgers University in 2005. She became a licensed CPNP in 2005. Lauren worked at St. Barnabas Medical Center, Dept of Pediatrics from 1999-2005. In addition, she worked with Bayada home pediatric nursing from 2002-2004. She is a member of NAPNAP and PNCB since 2005. She has been with our practice since 2005. Lauren also lives locally with her husband, Jeffrey and her lovely daughter.

Veronica DiSilva
Veronica received her bachelor in science degree from Pace University. She then went on to work in NYC for Mount Sinai hospital for 9 years in pediatric transplant.  During that time she became certified in pediatrics and she also attended Rutgers University to completed her Masters in Science.

Veronica went on to join a primary practice care in Chatham New Jersey where she worked for two years before joining our practice in 2012.   She is an active member of NAPNAP, and PNCB since 2008. She is originally from Westchester NY, but now lives in Bergen County with her husband two children, and dog.
